HOW TO USE: Traditional Crimping • Separate a 2-inch section of hair, gently place hair between the crimping plates and clamp the iron down firmly on the hair, work from the scalp to the ends of your hair. • Leave the iron in fine hair for 5 to 8 seconds and for 10 to 15 seconds in thick hair. • Carefully slide the iron along the isolated section, making sure to follow the wave in the hair. The ends will probably require less heat than the hair which grows closer to the scalp. • For best results, hold end of hair while crimping the hair section. • To remove hair from the iron, simply release pressure and allow the hair to gently slip out from the crimping plates. • The styling process does not require overlapping; separate each section of hair and work on it as indicated above. • Repeat the process until you have achieved the look you want. • Allow hair to cool. Detail Crimping • Randomly separate 2-inch sections of hair all over and crimp as indicated above. • Leave some areas straight to create your own individual look.
