For organic, natural-looking waves, section your hair horizontally and hold the hair waver so the barrels sit at a 45-degree angle to the hair section when clamping. For equally balanced waves and root volume, separate a mohawk section along your part, and in horizontal sections from the forehead, clamp the iron forward.
